Coin Says Hi is a free browser companion for exploring an unfamiliar coin. You choose a front photo — and, if you have one, a reverse photo and a short note — and submit them for a provisional reading: a typed status, a possible match, visible clues pinned to photo positions, alternatives, historical context, and checks to make next.

The site also publishes a small library of source-linked guides on identifying, photographing, and caring for coins.

What it is not

A possible photo match is not authentication, grading, a condition assessment, a rarity determination, or a market valuation. A reading is a starting point for your own comparison with independent catalogues and, when needed, a qualified numismatic professional. The separate example result is invented and clearly labeled.

How it works

Choosing a photo keeps it in the page; nothing is sent until you select Continue to analysis. On submission, your front photo, optional reverse photo, optional note, and Cloudflare connecting IP are sent through this site's Worker to Qomza's gateway, where an AI model generates the structured, provisional reading it returns.

The result is held in this page's memory only and cannot be restored from a URL. Qomza's gateway keeps what you send for each lookup, the result it returns, and related service information in its records until the gateway operator removes them — the Privacy page lists the full details.
